We are very proud of our school and the facilities and resources that we offer. We continually strive to offer our children the best possible resources that will support their learning journey over the four years that they are with us.
Over the years, we have made a number of improvements and continue to look for ways to develop our indoor and outdoor spaces further.
Inside
Our Main Hall is at the heart of our school building (used for assemblies, drama and music performances, indoor PE lessons and school lunches). Located in two separate wings either side of the Main Hall are two shared areas in which six classrooms surround each (Years 3/5 and Years 4/6). Each shared area has access to laptops and iPads to enhance learning. We also have:
- A dedicated Music and Drama room
- A dedicated and well-stocked library with outside seating area
- The POD – a well-equipped classroom to support children with SEND
- A sensory room
- A dedicated ELSA room
- Three further spaces (regularly used for small group interventions and extra-curricular clubs)
- A kitchen area for children’s cooking
- Kitchens (providing snacks and hot lunches to the children)
- Large, spacious two-tiered playing field
- Running tracks on bottom playing field
- Trim trail (built 2024 and installed by the PJSA)
- MUGA – Multi-use Games Area (built 2023)
- Large hard-standing playground
- Colourful playground markings including hopscotch, geometric shapes, sports pitch markings and counting games
- Adventure playground
- Sheltered canopy with seating (built 2019)
- Ongoing development of our woodland areas
- A new seating area with the ‘Friendship Bench’ (provided by Lazy Susan Furniture – https://www.lazysusanfurniture.co.uk/)
- Four installed basketball hoops
- Dedicated PE equipment shed with a range of resources for PE lessons and break/lunch times
- A bike and scooter rack located by the main entrance/reception
- Seating area located outside 4S
